Uta Durandal !
Uta Durandal is a young Gambler of the Badlands, having recently rejoined the group after leaving it for an unknown reason to be on his own. He is a black smoke Maine Coon, with irises that are a blood-red, and sclera that nearly match the blackness of his pelt. His ears are pierced five times on each side, a snake bite lip piercing decorates the right side of his mouth, and a piercing on the side of his left eye sits perfectly. Though he looks intimidating, Uta actually isn't one to instill fear in others, and tries to be nice toward them since mortals intrigue him. However, he is a very powerful ghoul, his strength only being matched by that of Yomo, but no one really knows who that is. He's not a hard person to get along with, unless someone happens to find his cannibalism to be rather strange for them. See, Uta's a ghoul, and that means he cannot eat human food or prey that the average feline eats, he must eat felines to survive, and pukes up anything else.
Uta loves to make friends, especially if he is able to make friends with the elusive mortals that are scared of his species. However, he doesn't have any friends now, just acquaintances that he happens to live with in the Badlands, and nothing more. Those who he tries to befriend only push him away because they're scared of him, afraid that he might try to eat them instead. That's not what he wants, but that's what he gets, and so he's given up on trying to make friends anymore wherever he goes. But he's easy to get along with because he knows how to say things that get people to trust him, though not very easily. If it wasn't for him being a ghoul, he would likely be the popular kid at school, with all the friends, the perfect grades, and be the perfect athlete. Right now, he's more like the emo kid, who sits in the back to himself, listening to music and moping in his emotions.
He isn't someone who dislikes getting along with people; in fact, if he hates someone, it's because they severely wronged him. The one thing he doesn't want is to make enemies, but with the mortals being scared of his species, he has more than enough. And if they want to be his enemies, then that's completely fine with him because he knows everyone isn't going to like him. Uta would like for everyone to like him, but the thing in the world is that no one likes anyone unless they get to know the person. And despite being enemies, he will, more than likely, show kindness toward them to at least try to win them over in being friends. As of now, he doesn't have any enemies, other than the mortals who want his species to be deceased and removed from the world. If he creates any enemies, it'll be that he tries his best to keep them at bay and try to befriend them, so they aren't enemies anymore.
Love is something that Uta hasn't quite grasped, and this may be because he hasn't loved someone before in his life and has never tried. Sure, he's open to trying it, but the likelihood of him following through with a relationship is very slim to absolutely nothing. He might make mistakes along the way, hurt their feelings unintentionally, and the like, but this is only because he is learning. Uta's never known love, never loved anyone, so he doesn't even know what the feeling of love actually feels like to someone. So, it'll be a whole new experience for him when the time comes for him to fall madly in love with that perfect "One." And he does hope for that day to come soon because he's tired of being alone, and tired of being hated by the mortals for who he is. For one, he just wants to live in peace with the mortals, and for some ungodly reason, they refuse him that one wish.
